GOING FISHING WITH PARKS & REC

The Naugatuck Parks and Recreation Department's Annual Fishing Derby takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Saturday, April 12, at Baummer's Pond on Mill Street.

The derby is open to children ages 1 to 16. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Hot dogs, burgers, soda, coffee and hot chocolate will be available for sale.

The 2008 fishing derby, a Naugatuck tradition for 17 years, is sponsored by AFSCME Local 1303-12
(the borough Street and Park Department workers) and the Naugatuck Parks and Recreation Department.
