The Connecticut Parent and Information Resource Center is a statewide resource center working to improve parents' access to the information and resources they need be active participants in their children's education. CT PIRC, which is based in Middletown, offers resources and information by phone at 1-800-842-8678. It also offers workshops and trainings for parents, teachers, administrators and others seeking to support greater parent involvement in learning and schools. The CT PIRC is coordinated by the Connecticut State Education Resource Center (SERC), a non-profit agency, with resources and support from the U.S. Department of Educaiton and the Connecticut Department of Education.
