Birth to Three helps families meet developmental and health-related needs of infants and toddlers

 

Naugatuck Discovery is a local collaborative made up of Naugatuck residents, child care providers, parents, seniors, family service providers, community groups, faith-based organizations and educators. A committee of volunteers and staff meets regularly to plan and take action on Discovery's goals and objectives, including community and family awareness about the importance of early childhood for children's social, emotional and academic success.

Focus Group Volunteers Needed
Naugatuck Discovery needs volunteers to serve as facilitators and recorders for a series of upcoming focus groups on early childhood. Discovery will provide a free training. Focus group discussions will be incorporated into Naugatuck's Blueprint for Young Children, a community plan for Naugatuck children birth to age 8. Interested? Putting on AIRS

Parent Leadership Training Institute 2009
Join the growing list of Naugatuck parents who have graduated from this important leadership education opportunity. PLTI is a free, 20-week classroom experience that teaches parents how state and local government works, how to advocate for children and how to make a positive impact on the quality of life in their communities.
